چکیده
ATHEROSCLEROSIS IN THE YOUNG ADULT: FEWER HYPOTHESES, MORE FACTS (Abstract): Several studies have reported early atherosclerotic changes in arterial wall of young adults, although they usually become symptomatic after age 40 years. Initially, some sporadic and limited data were available to document the atherosclerotic lesions in young adults; early subclinical assessment were later possible using accurate ultrasound and other imaging techniques. Our aim was to a review of eloquent studies proving different type of atherosclerotic lesion in the young adult. Long-term follow-up and further analysis of this population demonstrated important relationship with traditional and some non-traditional, risk factors. The data comprised in the reviewed studies are arguments in favor of a more refined atherosclerotic risk assessment and appropriate preventive strategy in young adult.

متن کاملFacts about Stem Cells and Importance of Them
Stem cells are undifferentiated biological cells that can differentiate into specialized cells and can divide (through mitosis) to produce more stem cells. They are found in multicellular organisms. In mammals, there are two broad types of stem cells: embryonic stem cells, which are isolated from the inner cell mass of blastocysts, and adult stem cells, which are found in various tissues. In ad...

In 166 aphasic patients, Broca's aphasia was the most common while Wernicke's and transcortical aphasias...
متن کاملA Survey on the Presence of Calcifying Nanoparticles in Renal Stones, Gallbladder Stones and Atherosclerosis Plaque
Background & Aims: Calcifying nanoparticles are different forms of calcium and phosphate in sediments. Recent evidence suggests that calcifying nanoparticles (CNPs) are probably selfreplicating. Several diseases are linked to nano-bacteria including kidney stones, gallbladder stone, cardiovascular plaques, oral–dental plaque, many cancers, and autoimmune diseases. The aim of this study was to a...
